A reputable client in the FMCG manufacturing sector is looking for an assistant accountant to join their team. You will be responsible for, among other things, sales reconciliations, processing cashbooks receipts and payments as well as overseeing day to day accounting transactions. You will have at least three years of experience in a similar position and an Accounting degree.

Requirements
  • Supervision of accounts clerks
  • Processing cashbooks receipts and payments
  • Verifying bank deposits
  • Monthly treasury spot checks
  • Producing and reporting daily, weekly or monthly summaries to head office
  • Assisting credit controller on customer collections
  • Overseeing day to day accoutnting transactions
  • Any other duties assigned
  • Sales reconciliations
