Review of DHL Harare, Zimbabwe

I am very disappointed with DHL Zimbabwe. I sent a parcel from Perth Australia after paying $255 for a parcel weighing 3.5kgs. Then when it arrives they contact the receiver and ask her to pay $149 to collect the parcel and it had to be done in 2 days or it starts to incur storage costs of $10/day. DHL Zimbabwe breaks down the cost as:$79 for Duty, $50 for customs and $20 for health. Please can DHL Zim tell other intetnational DHLs to warn customers intending to send using their services that the customer must be awre of more costs when the parcel arrives. You cannot just expect a customer to pull out $149 within 2 days. Atleast give them 7 days. And the telephone number given never works. We made a Big mistake use you DHL Zimbabwe and we will inform other people to avoid your services. Shameful. O.D
