GSMS’ core business lies in the creation and utilisation of geo-spatial information in a wide range of application domains or specializations but particularly in mapping, surveying (cadastral, engineering, mining, topographic), urban development, agriculture, the environment and community development. Our services currently range from application development and installation, training in geo-spatial information software and processing, Geo Information Management within small and large organisations, brokerage services in geo-spatial information processing as well as the application of geo-spatial information in business development and consultation. GSMS also goes a step further to create information for users by way of remote sensing, cadastral, topographic, geodetic and engineering

Also in the formative stages are attempts by the company to promote the inclusion of GIS and GPS in the educational curriculum of some Tertiary Educational Institutions namely the Zimbabwe School of Mines.
