Reviews of Glenlivet Hotel

I spent a spare but pleasant evening and night here, on the run from a lesser place, and as an alternative to going to a hotel in Masvingo. Glen Livet is almost 100 years old and is a venerable fixture locally as a hotel. While it is well worn, the parts work. I found all the services I wanted: supper with a good menu range, pleasant bar, reasonably well stocked, hot and cold running water in a fully functioning bathroom with soap and towels provided, and breakfast at an early hour. Barry was a friendly host and his primary waitress, Meladie, was delightfully pleasant. I was in fact charmed to be in such pleasant surroundings. I am glad to suggest Glen Levit Hotel for an alternative in the Masvingo area especially if you like the old time atmosphere, are touring the game park or want to escape city noise. My room was quiet and had a ceiling fan, though power was off most of the night.
And if you are a marmalade connoisseur, they make their own and it was wonderful.
