You ignore your customers why?
I owed topics some money which was paid in full by former employer.i asked topics in july 2018 if all was now ok and they did not respond.Come august 2019 i ask them again and they where so quick to tell me i owed them $144. Upon requsting an explanation of where that money was coming from they started to ignore me. I have been sending them emails almost on a daily basis requesting for a statement and they dont respond. Topics i need you to respond to my emails and tell me where the $144 is coming from. you were so quick to tell me how much i owed but you cannot explain how that money came to be.

Where is Topics?
I have never been into a Topics store in my life. However, for about the last five years, I receive regular notices from them saying how much I owe. I have written emails, spoken to the accounts dept. but all to no avail.
Currently, my December payment for Account no. ******** for $319 is overdue. No wonder, the lady who should make payment never receives the notices, I do. PLEASE for the fifth, tenth, perhaps fifteenth time of asking, check your records. My cellphone no. ends, 598. This is not your customer's number.

I have a topics account upon enquiring my balance I was informed I owed them $436.33!! Very interesting indeed because i owe them a less than half the amount.

i have a similar problem. my bal was $600 and bought clothes for $120 suddenly i got a message saying i owe $1014. i have been waiting from august to get some explanation but to no avail.i have sent emails and went to my branch but i can not get help.

I had a 36months account which I closed in 2014 since i was out of work but when I visited topics last week Dec 2016 just to confirm on my buying power I was told I was owing them money which I cleared 2 years ago.I was hurt and surprised I went to accounts no one could assist me ,a lady just told me i have to bring receipts which go black after 3months ,to go to head office Prospect .Topics is such the worst credit stores ever if truly i was owing them money how come they never wrote or called me for the past 2 years to ask for their money and more over my credit imagine was destroyed by topics when actually I paid in full.Their system is bad and they steal from customers.And theye ignore customers problems.

When I asked the lady at Angwa city she said,she has many accounts to monitor.Can u imagine,I was paying for my clothes and they were busy diverting my money to the so called Toplife Insurance that I never registered for.They never called me for about 6 months.If I didn't go there to confirm I would have been still paying and owing them for an insurance I never registered for. But they are on it again,just last week I paid $42 which was never explained to me.Each time I tried to verify they say network is down.So my advice to you dear is take it up like what I'm about to do:go straight to the head office and demand an explaination ,we need transparency. If you are not satisfied take them to court. ,tomorrow I will visit their HQ if not satisfied, I will take it up.If I fail to get a satisfactory breakdown if my account's going ons will contact u ,let's team up.Beware of white collar crooks.Someone might be feasting on our loses. Since last week my account isn't closed as o'er my request.I have the right to have that account to be close just as much as I have to open it.I'm gravely disappointed in Topics.Surely if anybody close to me wants to open this account ....

I closed my account long back but still sms is still being sent that I owe topics money. That's why I closed my account because from nowhere you wake up with acrued figures which will take many calls and visits to the stores. The inefficiencies are so bad that you can't trust to have an account with this store in fear of buldged account figures. I work out of the country but has kept my topics account since I need to take clothes for my family who still reside in Zimbabwe.7 August came back Zimbabwe and was told to clear my account I had to pay $125 which I did. I purchased clothes for $93 Mutare branch and 13 august bought again clothes worth $60 in Harare.Yesterday sent someone to pay the monthly instalment and she wad told $88 was due. I am out of the country and some of the reciepts can't find them. I am real disappointed heard system not yet updated ?how long does it take to update system.

I Visited Topics J Moyo today 10 may 2013 at 15:34 hours enquiring about my account which was suppose to be deducted at ssb but was not. So l went to find out for not deducting the money in April. Before l could even explain my story to the credit managers l was bombaded left right coner by a manager from truworths who was in in the office for a chart accusing me of not paying my account on time and that l should be charged interest which l refused. He went on to remind me that they are in business as if l dont know. The credit controllers could not defend me as their customer, they only tried to do so when he was gone. l was noy happy at all to the extend that i cleared my account that moment and demanded them to close my account and l dont intend to be associated with you again.
