Manager Coporate Banking

I am responsible for client relationship management, structured trade finance, deposit mobilization strategies, marketing initiatives, portfolio strategic planning and budgeting, presenting credit proposals to the credit committee for approval, I also manage my subordinates , their capacity, workflow and well-being, assessing and reviewing of assets underwritten by them and Business Development initiatives to create profitable assets from deposits. I also do credit evaluation, monitoring, review and risk management. I am responsible for the provision of Trade Finance instruments such as Guarantees, Letters of credit, export and import Finance

Responsible for managing imports & exports administration, Structured Trade Finance and Trade Finance instruments, which include among others the issuance of Letters of credit, Documentary collections, Promissory notes, Foreign and Local guarantees. Also responsible for Export business development including offering Pre and Post shipment financing, Invoice discounting, Asset financing, import financing, Export order financing, Debt factoring and many other Trade Finance instruments that may be requested by customers from time to time. In the same period, I was responsible for International Banking and Exchange Control management as well as authorization through the SWIFT system and processing of all Exchange Control transactions, administration and acquittals of all forms TR1, TR2, CD1, CD3 as well as acquittal of Bill of entries and ensure compliance with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe regulations as stipulated in the Exchange Control Act. I was also responsible for managing staff welfare and any issues that may arise at the Bank’s Trade and Export Finance Center.
