Operations Engineer

 Carrying out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance with in the processing plant and underground ventilation.
 Ensure optimum plant availability and functioning through efficient maintenance.
 Spares and consumables management.
 Manage performance of subordinate staff.
 Carry out regular audits to identify areas requiring improvement.
 Drawing up budgets and controlling the Engineering department expenditure.
 Enforcing compliance to Safety, Health and Environment Policies and Standards.
 Leads and monitors projects planning, costing, execution and appraisals.
 Any other duties as lawfully delegated.

 Carrying out design investigations, reporting and specifications.
 Develops comprehensive plant modifications plans, guide lines and system.
 Conducts equipment performance and reliability analysis using operational statistical data.
 Develops systems and strategies to maximize plant availability.
 Manages engineering projects/ modifications.
 Provides specialist engineering advice/assistance.
 Regular servicing and maintenance of all machinery and equipments and ensuring the proper functioning of the same.
 Responsible for the co-ordination of all corrective actions required to return plant back to service.
 To ensure Failure Analysis of plant and equipment failures is completed as per the plant standard, and that the probable root causes have been identified and addressed.
 Drawing up budgets and controlling the Engineering department expenditure.
 Conducting of audits to ensure compliance to standards and legal requirements.
 Ensure disposal of hazardous maintenance waste & spills according to environmental policies and procedures.
 Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work.
 Leads and monitors projects planning, costing, execution and appraisals.
 Any duties from management.

 Designing and detailing of structural steeling drawings.
 Producing working drawings for factory maintenance.
 Producing plant layout structural drawings for plant expansions and any other alteration.
 Producing of working drawings as per set engineering standards and conformation with product design specifications.
 Making site visits for precise measurements and general layout of drawings.
 Working out bill of material as per project.
 Costing and estimation of projects.
 Keeping a systematic filling sequence of drawings.
 General housekeeping of the drawing office.
 Designing of building plans and working drawings to suite modern Building By-laws.
 Generating all engineering and technical drawings for commercial products or machines.
 Maintaining a logistical filling system of drawings in the drawing office.
 Any duty from Management
