Reproductive and Maternal Health Coordinator

Providing coordination and management of reproductive, maternal, adolescent and child health initiatives at national level. Supporting provinces in implementation of RMNCH activities including coordinating the National Maternal and perinatal Deaths Surveillance and Response Committee. Planning, monitoring and coordinating human capacity development activities,report writing and dissemination, conducting operational research.Coordinating clinical mentorship activities in selected provinces.
Coordinating partner efforts with a focus of reducing maternal and child morbidity and mortality

Provided technical, leadership, and supervisory roles to the national program on prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT)of HIV and participated in the adoption and adaptation of the 2013 integrated HIV guidelines. Participated in the capacitation of health workers in the implementation of the guidelines

Provided overall leadership and management for the national survey to determine the effectiveness of the Zimbabwe PMTCT program and the mother-to Child transmission of HIV rate in the country, from recruiting of survey data collectors, training, placement and supervision. Also coordinated report writing and results dissemination for the baseline phase

Provided leadership in human resources, financial and program management- planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation

Provided overall management of all nursing activities for a district level hospital. Established a school of nursing
