Agricultural Economist

• Coordinating the formulation of the overall agriculturalsector
and subsector development policies and strategies
• Coordinating in project implementation Lead relevant  within
certain projected Points
• Drafting of the 2018/19 crop budgets
• Updates of weekly prices for all crops in all markets including
the international and informal markets
• Participate in the SDGs target, evaluation and monitoring
• Engage with small scale farmers through IFAD  sponsored
workshops
• Coordinating the development feasibility studies
and identification, appraisal, design and evaluation of agricultural
programmes and joint ventures to undertake
• Take part in crop evaluation process
• Updates on the weekly reports for the whole ministry
• Conduct workshops with smallholder irrigation farmers  with
IFAD

* Maintain updated knowledge of all company products  and services to provide adequate education to customers 
* Provide information and instructions about relevant services 
* Foster and maintain relationships with customers to improve our retention rate 
* Answer customer questions and provide information to resolve any issues
*Collect and record customer feedback and information  and share with appropriate departments and team members
*Attend all required customer service related meetings

*Capture correct registration numbers and receive  payments,
issue prepaid coupons to motorist entering the border post
* Issue not paid receipt for truck to complete payment in  the
freight terminal 
* Moninitor, assist and surpervise customer service agents
* Record and report all incidents as they occur at the entrance of
the border 
* Report to the cashier supervisor and service desk  supervisor
issues to do with ZIMRA escorts, exemptions  and boom
challenges 
* Handover all issues to the next shift and report them as they
happen to the supervisors 
* Do physical check to confirm vehicle registration number  and
vehicle class as per Zimborder classification
*Verifying all prepaid receipts to match the Zimborder  vehicle
clarification and the registration numbers
* Communicate and assist drivers at the entrance so
they understand the flow movement of traffic at the border as
to ensure smooth movement of traffic
*Perform cash up records with cashier supervisor 
* Prepare statistics and reports as required
