A reputable organisation in catering services is seeking a Data Analyst who's main responsibilities will be Analyzing Data / Trend Analysis. The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification which includes Mathematics / Economics/ Computer Science/ Quantitative Techniques / Statistics or a related degree . As the Data Analyst you should have 3-5 years proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.

QualificationsProfessional qualifications from professional bodies such as SAAA / HEXCO/ IAC/ LCCI, or a related degree from a university
SoftwarePastel Evolution Accounting Package /MS Office/ Reporting packages/ PowerPoint/ Graphics Design which include charts
Knowledge OfData Models / Database Design Development / Data Mining / Segmentation Techniques.
Skills ToBe Adept at Queries/ Report Write / Present Findings.
Ability ToManage large volumes of data and to work to deadline
Other RequirementsStrong communication skills
Requirements
  • Reviewing inflation price baskets for the various contract sites compiled by data captures / site managers.
  • Reviewing daily costings for the various contract sites compiled by data captures / site managers.
  • Analyzing data relating to monthly performance of our various individual contracts
  • Trend analysis of sales by contract/sales by product line both in quantity and value.
  • Data analytics / other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Valuation of monthly closing stock for various contract sites.
  • Sales by product line both in quantity and value
  • Trend analysis of sales by contract
  • Develop / implement databases
