About the product
The Senior Department opened in January 1999. It has offered the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) to boys and girls. We are the only school in Zimbabwe starting senior education at Year Seven (G7) as we follow the UK Educational system. Our Year Six students from the Junior School have an automatic right of entry to the Senior Department.
The Senior Department is made up of three sections;
Lower Seniors Year 7 – Year 9 - 13 years to 14 years
Middle Seniors Year 10 & Year 11 – 15 years to 16 years
Upper Seniors Sixth Form (Y12,13) – 17 years to 18 years
We have a maximum of three classes per year group with a maximum of twenty six students in each class.
Places are offered to students who excel in our own entrance test, consisting of a English and Mathematics test. A copy of the candidate’s previous school report is also required.
