Company description
Formed in 1986 through the Urban Development Corporation Act (Chapter 29:16), Urban Development Corporation (UDCORP) is a state owned enterprise (SOE) under the Ministry of Local Government Public Works and National Housing. Its mandate is to offer affordable accommodation and improving the standard of living of the generality of population of Zimbabwe. Over the years the corporation has worked with various public and private entities assisting in planning and encouraging urban growth and development.

It has developed quite a number of areas in Zimbabwe including Nandi Villas in Bindura, Chikanga in Mutatre, Hellensvale in Harare, Tongogara Court in Harare, Marondera Dombotombo and Chitungwiza Riverside. In 2016, the corporation was also appointed a project manager for various state

It also offers Audit Services to the Local Authorities in Zimbabwe. The corporation has started some land development in Manresa and Knockmalloch.
