An exciting position to oversee the effective and efficient development of the expansion programs, build value over time by the continuous improvement and development of the operation. Minimum of 5 years in commercial horticulture or tobacco and 3 years at management level.

Qualifications	Degree in Horticulture or related science
Software	Advantageous
Knowledge Of	SOPs to drive productivity and quality and crop planning from field through to pack house
Skills To	Motivate staff
Ability To	Manage staff and adhere to international export standards
Other Requirements	General hands on farming experience required

Requirements

General Operations Management – operating costs per unit (pruning, spraying, fertilizing, irrigation, packaging & land preparation
Strategic planning, capex planning and execution including new planting
Drive ongoing continuous improvement focusing on detail around quality, volumes and yields
Recruiting, leading and developing first class management team inclusive of assistant section
Drive adoption of global best practices and benchmarks with local innovation
Closely guard reputation and integrity of the business
