An established and thriving FMCG and manufacturing organisation seek a Financial Accountant with relevant FMCG industry experience, with good potential and an excellent academic background. You will need a first degree in Accounting and should be a recently qualified Chartered Accountant.

Qualifications	First Degree in Accounting / Finance AND Registered Chartered Accountant
Software	MS Office / Sage 100
Knowledge Of	Finance management / Accounting
Skills To	Analyse and solve work related problems to achieve correct outcomes at the relevant level
Ability To	Understand the business area of work plan work daily

Requirements

Receives and checks Supplier invoices completeness and compliance to internal regulatory requirements prior to processing.
Processes supplier invoices within 48hrs of receipt into the system for approval processes by the relevant signatories.
Processes supplier payments within 12 hours of document receipt and submits for approval process by relevant signatories
Deducts 1/3 VAT withholding Tax on all tax invoices without valid tax clearance certificate.
Prepares and submits VAT returns to the Finance Manager monthly.
Monitors suppliers ledger and follows up on long outstanding payments to invoices based on remittances advice from the relevant sections.
Prepares creditors reconciliations statements and submits to the Finance Manager.
Prepares creditors reconciliation and clears outstanding items.
Receives and processes monthly intercompany charges.
Balances all intercompany accounts with other business units.
