A reputable company is looking for a qualified Accountant to to be the Group Accountant for 6 entrepreneurial businesses/subsidiaries. The successful incumbent will oversee the financial operations, advise on investment plans, monitor the company's finances and produce financial reports. You will work closely with the Group CEO to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the company's objectives.

Software	Palladium / Pastel / Belina / MS Office
Knowledge Of	Trading, Distribution and Logistics
Skills To	Excellent interpersonal skills / Administration and typing skills
Ability To	Apply initiative, good judgement and creative thinking

Requirements

Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and Annual Financial Reports
Preparation of Monthly Key Performance Indicators
Preparation of Monthly and Annual Budgets
Compiling quarterly board packs
Reviewing daily, weekly and monthly sales reports
Managing the month end and ensuring all entries are processed correctly and on time
Reviewing and ensuring all statutory obligations are correctly prepared, submitted and paid on time
Processing of payroll
Maintenance of fixed asset register and record keeping of documentation
Carrying out periodic internal audit checks to ensure that company controls and processes are sufficient and effective
Ensuring that debtors and creditors statements are prepared and submitted on time and queries followed up
Preparation of consolidated group accounts
Handling the year end audit and audit queries
